Here is the link for
the pin for this project. I followed the directions almost exactly, except I preferred the smaller paper clips. I used
this template for making the chick (the original pin was a love bird, but I wanted mine to be an Easter chick). And I made mine two-sided so you can turn it around and see the pink chick or the yellow chick. I cut both pieces at the same time (if you want you can use removable adhesive to stack them and then just cut around it. Then I did the same thing with the wing.) Use a little scrap of the yellow patterned paper to make the beak (I did yellow side out for both sides on this and cut it together so they would match up). Pop up the wings if you want - and add the little black adhesive dots for the eyes.
For the paper clip legs: Unbend the paper clip as straight as you can then just bend into a little triangle. I used scotch tape to attach them inside the chick before putting it together. Then I just played with the height and angle of the triangles a little to get it to stand.
Have fun - and take a picture of all of your cute chicks lined up for me if you think of it!
